Chef de rang

Job Overview:

The role of the Chef de Rang is to support the entire restaurant staff to ensure excellent service for our guests, in compliance with our company philosophy, operating standards and procedures. They will help to develop a harmonious work atmosphere with a focused approach on collaboration.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Will keep professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Will be in charge of the mise en place for each shift (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
  • Will anticipate the needs of our guests, taking extreme care of details and customer service as well as coordinating all commis of the same section.
  • Will supervise and train the commis de rang.
  • Will proactively be involved in teamwork and cooperate with every co-worker.
  • Will collect all materials needed from the warehouse, in accordance with the instructions received.
  • Will support in counting the linen in compliance with the defined procedures.
  • Will ensure compliance with all the HACCP system rules.
  • Will check the correct use and upkeep of all equipment and materials supplied.
  • Will implement all the information shared during training.
